Information System for Well-matched, Energy-Efficient Transport (iSWEET)
Subject:
This project will conduct research on an intelligent transport information system (iSWEET). By implementing a, real-time, holistic matching between multi-mode vehicles (buses, taxis, private cars, and freight lorries) and all customers in the service area, iSWEET optimizes the use of all vehicles on the road, and accordingly maximize the energy and cost efficiency for transportation. The iSWEET is an open and scalable system. It can be deployed locally, nationally and internationally. Every vehicle and customer can join in the network.
