BIC Group s.r.o., the mother company of BIC Group Holding, was established in 1993. The history of our company started in 1991 when the representatives of the European Business and Innovation Network - EBN visited Slovakia in order to establish the national branch of Business Innovation Center network here. In 1992 another companies within the holding started their operations and in 1993 the mother company BIC Group s.r.o. was establish to consolidate the holding.
Our main clients are small and medium-sized enterprises, self-governing bodies,
municipalities, state and public administration and research organizations.
Services provided by BIC Group s.r.o. are mainly of a consulting nature as our
offer ranges from processing to implementation of various development projects.
We focus mainly on the areas of innovation, technology transfer and foresight,
in which we have vast experience and know-how. At the same time we participate
as partners in preparation and implementation of various projects funded from
EC as well as the state budget focused on innovation development and competitiveness
growth.
Thanks to the long-term cooperation with regional authorities we have experiences
with preparation of regional strategic planning documents in the field of innovation
as we participated in two Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS) projects. We
cooperated also with decision-making authorities on the national level in preparation
of strategic materials focused on development of innovation, industry and research
for 2007-2013 programming period. Our other activities within other projects
include cooperation with SMEs and their matching, technology transfer, cross-border
cooperation, preparation of sectoral analyses and studies, organizing trainings
and seminars, project management and preparation and submitting project applications.
The main focus of our current activities is the method of foresight and projects dealing with it in order to improve innovation capabilities of sectors or regions. We have been organizing international corporate foresight trainings for companies with participation of top foreign foresight experts every year since 2005.
